The Office of Volunteer and
Community Service Programs, part of the Center for Career Development
and Service Learning, serves to connect students, faculty, and staff
with service opportunities in the community. Located in Dinkins
120, we are a great resource for students to learn about volunteer
opportunities in the community as well as for service agencies to
connect with volunteers. Programs such the America Reads and
Counts Challenge, the Winthrop Homework Clinic, SOAR along with other
service activities allow students to effectively become involved in the
community. If you would like more information on how you can make
a difference, contact us at (803) 323-2582. |
