Each Scholar works at their primary site for approximately six hours a week for a total of at least 84
hours per semester. In addition, they spend another four hours a week in a variety of
secondary service sites and personal development activities.
Monthly group service projects have included an Oxfam Hunger Banquet, Spring for
cans, Recycled First Aid kits, and the Giraffe
Project. Close Scholars have also helped with Campus Clean Sweep,
Rolling in Rock Hill, American Red Cross Blood Drives, Make a Difference Day, Operation Christmas Child,
More than a Month,
and much more.
