Purpose of Organization To educate the community about rescue facilities that provide a safe adn loving environment for neglected and homeless animals and to make a difference in people's and animal's lives.
Description of Organization The purpose of HEART is to educate the community about rescue facilities that provide a safe and loving environment for neglected and homeless animals and make a difference in people's and animal's lives. HEART is a student organization at Winthrop University that does volunteer work at local animal rescue. We are currently involved with Richardson Rescue, Recycled Pets, St. Francis, and York County Humane Society. Our volunteer work includes cleaning kennels, socializing animals, basic training, assisting in adoptions, and making animals happy.
