Description of Organization

Best Buddies at Winthrop University's mission is to enhance the lives of
people with intellectual disabilities by providing opportunities for
friendship. This is done by matching college student volunteers (College
Buddies) in mutually enriching one-to-one friendships with persons with
intellectual disabilities. Associate Members participate in chapter
events, meetings, and group outings, but are not matched in a one-to-one
friendships. |
