Mission Statement

The Department of Student Affairs, an integral component of the Division of Student Life, provides opportunities for individual growth and is dedicated to the development of an inclusive community.  As educators, we teach life skills within a supportive atmosphere that encourages critical thinking and informed decision making.  Through facilitation of activities and exposure to new ideas, we enhance the Winthrop experience.  Student Affairs cultivates tomorrow’s civic minded and service oriented leaders.

Academic Integrity
