The Minor in Social
Sciences The minor in social sciences consists of at least 18
semester hours of courses in ANTH, ECON, GEOG, HIST, PHIL, PLSC,
PSYC, SOCL or RELG to include at least 6 hours in courses numbered
above 299. A student may not include in the social sciences
minor any courses with the designator of the major. To
receive credit for the social sciences minor, students must also
complete a course dealing with social sciences methodology (ANTH
341, ECON 201, HIST 500, PLSC 350, PSYC 303 or SOCL 316). The
methodology requirement may be satisfied through major
requirements.
