course requires study
and application of major
models of social work
practice with emphasis
on the linkage between
theoretical models of
social work practice,
assessment, intervention
and outcome in work with
individuals, families
and groups.
Students develop skills
in beginning, middle and
ending phases of
intervention, practice
evaluation, advocacy and
case management.

and Inequality
The
study of the impact of
discrimination and
inequality on every
aspect of human life,
including, but not
limited to, person-hood,
family life, social and
economic status,
physical and mental
well-being and
intergroup
relationships. The
course reviews social
work practice responses
to issues of
discrimination and
inequality.
