Intramural Sports Program Assistant

PURPOSE: To assist the Program Director for Intramural and Club Sports with intramural programs and create and promote a positive interaction between the Office of Recreational Services and the campus community.

REPORTS TO: Program Director for Intramural and Club Sports

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Strong interpersonal skills
• Good communication skills
• Must be a full-time student at Winthrop University
• Working knowledge of sports
• Must have and maintain a minimum 2.0 cumulative GPA 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist with set-up and take down of all equipment on a nightly basis
• Keep score for intramural sports such as basketball, flag football, softball and soccer
• Assist with the management of game schedules
• Responsible for checking out intramural sports equipment to participants
• Assist with promoting upcoming intramural sporting events
• Assist with other events that the Office of Recreational Services provides

SALARY: $7.25 per hour
