CHRISTOPHER D. VAN ALLER

Biography
Dr. Chris Van Aller was
promoted to Professor of Political Science effective 2008. He
specializes in International Relations, Post Soviet Politics, and
European Politics. Dr. Van Aller holds a MA and Ph.D. in Foreign Affairs from the University
of Virginia in Charlottesville, VA. Dr. Van Aller joined the faculty at Winthrop University
in 1990. His research focuses on international affairs, and
security policy. He is the director of the annual Model United Nations
Conference.
Dr. Van Aller received a Fulbright Award to
study Poland in the EU during the summer of 2003, and was selected to
serve on the 2008 APSA Teaching and Learning Conference program
committee.
