What does it mean to be a commuter student? Commuter students are simply Winthrop students who do not live on campus. You commute to class and activities from an off-campus apartment or home.
If you have natural gas appliances, make sure your apartment has a carbon monoxide detector and follow all safety guidelines from the York County Natural Gas Authority.
