Senior Citizens
South Carolina residents age 60 and over may attend Winthrop for credit or noncredit purposes on a "tuition free" space available basis. A $10 registration fee is required in addition to any lab fees and book purchases. Applicants must be legal residents of South Carolina as specified in the South Carolina Code of Laws section 22.2 and may not receive compensation as full-time employees.
Senior citizen applicants must also meet admission requirements and provide documentation as detailed on the senior citizen application.
