Founders Federal Merges with Winthrop's Credit Union

ROCK HILL, S.C. - Founders
Federal Credit Union will
merge with the Winthrop Credit Union
on May 1.
The Winthrop Credit Union
becomes Founders Federal Credit Union – with 22 offices
and three service centers in
North and South Carolina, 170,000 members and
more than $1.4 billion in
assets.
Members of the Winthrop Credit
Union are now members of Founders Federal Credit Union, and
gain the ability and convenience of conducting business at
any Founders' office or ATM. The
original staff will continue to operate the branch, and will
continue to offer the same services and philosophies members
have come to expect from conducting business with the
Winthrop Credit Union.
Founders Federal Credit Union will offer a wide
variety of products and services to its new members
including, free Checking, great Savings Rates, free Debit
Cards, Platinum Visa Credit or Mastercard, free Founders
On-line and e-Lending, Bill Pay, Call 24 Account Access by
phone, Investment Services, Financial Counseling and
Founders Insurance Services.
