New Leaders Chosen for Council of Student Leaders

ROCK HILL, S.C. – Tatiana Sosa, a rising senior from Clover, S.C., will chair the Council of Student Leaders for 2008-09 and serve as the student representative to Winthrop’s Board of Trustees.

Elected by members in March, Sosa was council secretary this past academic year. The council is made up of key student office holders from major student associations, as well as at-large members, bringing the total membership to more than 40 members.

Sosa, a psychology major and Spanish minor, volunteered as Homecoming chair and with the Park Avenue Adult Day Care Center.

Sarah MacDonald, a rising sophomore from Goose Creek, S.C., was selected as vice chair.
