ROCK HILL, S.C. - The M.B.A. Association at Winthrop University will host the spring M.B.A. lecture on March 28 at 7 p.m. in Plowden Auditorium. The program’s featured speaker is Abe Reichental, president and chief executive officer of 3D Systems.
Reichental joined 3D Systems two and a half years ago, after spending 22 years with Sealed Air Corporation, a manufacturer of several types of packaging materials. Since Reichental began at 3D Systems, he has transformed the company by building a strong management team and increasing sales and profits.
"He is a man of vision who can pull technical and business functional people together as a team," said College of Business Administration Dean Roger Weikle. "His company represents the future of manufacturing; it is a high-tech, truly global company."
3D Systems is a leader in rapid three-dimensional printing, prototyping and manufacturing solutions. The company recently relocated its headquarters and research and development facilities to Rock Hill. It is in the process of building a more than 80,000-square-foot building in the Waterford Business Park in Rock Hill.
A reception will be held prior to the lecture at 6 p.m. For more information, call 803/323-2409.
