ROCK HILL, S.C. - Winthrop’s Department of Theatre and Dance will offer the Shakespearean comedy "Much Ado About Nothing" from April 5-9.

A favorite of audiences for more than 400 years, the charming romance weaves together the story of two very different pairs of lovers. Claudio loves Hero, but he is quick to doubt her fidelity. The show, directed by Jeannie Woods, associate dean of the College of Visual and Performing Arts, will be held in Johnson Theatre at 8 p.m. from April 5-8 and at 2 p.m. on April 9. Tickets are $5 with a Winthrop I.D. and $10 for general admission.
