As the end of spring semester approaches, Winthrop students and faculty are gearing up for Summer Session 2009. Registration opened March 25.
Coordinated by the Graduate School, Summer Session provides more than 160 day, evening and online courses in 24 sessions. Summer Session, which includes 24 sessions, offers lower tuition ($286/credit hour or $858/three-hour course) and housing costs as well as summer study in majors and minors for undergraduate and graduate students. In addition, Winthrop undergraduate students who enroll in Summer Session can maintain Life Scholarship eligibility since summer courses count toward the previous year.
For more information about Summer Session, call the Graduate School at 803/323-2204, stop by the office in 209 Tillman Hall or visit http://www.winthrop.edu/summer.
