Former CPA and Attorney with Deloitte Tax Will Deliver M.B.A. Lecture on Feb. 26

spring M.B.A. lecture
on Feb. 26 at Winthrop University. The event, sponsored by the

Boocock
, a graduate of Pennsylvania State University and the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, previously worked as assistant vice president, taxes and chief tax officer of Allegheny Technologies, Inc. He is a member of the American, Pennsylvania and Allegheny County bar associations and is a certified public accountant. Since retiring in 2008, Boocock has served as a part-time instructor at Winthrop, where he teaches corporate taxation.
Boocock
was the recipient of the 2003 Distinguished Service Award for lifetime service to the tax profession from the Pittsburgh chapter of Tax Executives Institute. From 1999-2002, he maintained active membership in the Tax Executives Institute, Inc., where he served as international secretary, international treasurer and a member of the executive committee.
A reception will be held in Barnes Recital Hall from 6-7 p.m. The lecture is free and open to the public.
