ROCK HILL, S.C. – A training session for prospective, new and experienced board members for non-profit organizations will be held on Oct. 13 at Winthrop University.

Led by Keith Benson, associate professor of management, the 90-minute workshop will cover the roles and responsibilities of board members. It will be held beginning at 7 p.m. in Room 415 of the Thurmond Building.

The cost is $10 and covers materials and refreshments. Participants should be prepared to pay by check that night, with checks made payable to the Institute of Management.
