ROCK HILL, S.C. - Winthrop University’s College of Business Institute of Management will offer an eight-month certificate management program, beginning on March 19.

Students in the program will acquire an understanding of the laws governing not-for-profit organizations and the fundamentals necessary for managing a not-for-profit organization.
Successful participants in the program will receive a certificate of completion from the Winthrop University Institute of Management.
Classes will alternate between the campuses of Winthrop University and the University of South Carolina-Lancaster. Class sessions meet on selective Wednesdays between March 19 and Oct. 15.
The cost of the total program, consisting of 51 hours of training, is $360 for each participant. Participant fees have been kept low due to the financial support of the J. Marion Sims Foundation, Sisters of Charity of South Carolina Foundation and the Chester Healthcare Foundation.
Class size is limited to 25 participants. Non-profit organizations are encouraged to contact Nell Walker, director of external relations for Winthrop’s College of Business Administration, at 803-323-2681.
