Registration Open for Certificate in Non-Profit Management Program

ROCK HILL, S.C. - Winthrop University’s
College of Business Institute of Management
is now taking registration for a nine-month certificate in
non-profit management program
, beginning on March 18.
The
56-hour program
is intended for executive directors, program managers, department managers and students wanting to work in non-profit management. Organizers said the program will help executives upgrade their skills in areas of governance, human resources management, business ethics and diversity, accounting and finance, program effectiveness, marketing and public relations, legal basics, sustainability and volunteer management.
Instructors are professionals in the field of non-profit management, consultants specializing in non-profit management and Winthrop business administration faculty members. Space is limited to the first 25 participants.
Successful participants in the program will receive a certificate of completion from the Winthrop University Institute of Management.
Classes will alternate between the campuses of
Winthrop University
and the
University of South Carolina-Lancaster
. Class sessions will be held on selective Wednesdays between March 18 and Oct. 15. Class times vary based on content.
