24th Annual Pottery Sale Showcases Faculty, Student Creations

ROCK HILL, S.C. — In need of the perfectly unique holiday present? Start your search on Dec. 6 at the annual Holiday Pottery Sale at Winthrop University.

Now in its 24th year, the sale will be held from noon-6 p.m. in Ceramics Room G-10 in the lower level of Rutledge Building on campus. Items for sale will include pieces crafted by senior ceramics students and Winthrop faculty, including James Connell, professor of ceramics.

Sale items range from functional pottery pieces to more decorative creations, all with unique designs and patterns.
Only payment in cash and/or checks are accepted.

The pottery sale is part of Rock Hill's ChristmasVille, a four-day festival of Christmas-themed events. A percentage of proceeds from the pottery sale will go to the ceramic scholarship fund and to purchase new equipment.
