ROCK HILL, S.C. – The Winthrop Graduate School Advisory Board met for its inaugural meeting on Sept. 5 to lend expertise to one of the university’s fastest growing programs.

Graduate School Dean Jack DeRochi sought 16 alumni and community members who could provide leadership in community relations, professional advocacy and resource development.

"We are very excited about the new Graduate School Advisory Board, and so thankful that these individuals have volunteered their time and service to Winthrop in this capacity,” DeRochi said. “Partnering with this group of highly-engaged community leaders will enable Winthrop to provide innovative graduate programs and resources that serve both our students and our community."
