Come-See-Me Festival Kicks Off 10-Day Run

 The Teddy Bear Tea Party is Tuesday, April 16 at 3:30 p.m. on the DiGiorgio Campus Center Green.

ROCK HILL, S.C. — The city of Rock Hill’s annual Come-See-Me Festival began more than 50 years ago as a way to increase a sense of community. The 10-day festival has several Winthrop University-related events, whether you want to cheer on the Eagles at a baseball game or bring your child to a Teddy Bear Tea Party.

Here is a list of those events:

Friday, April 12
Baseball game vs. Coastal Carolina; 6 p.m.; Winthrop Ballpark
• 4th Annual Catawba Pow-Wow; 3-10 p.m.; Winthrop Coliseum

Saturday, April 13

Baseball game vs. Coastal Carolina; 3 p.m.; Winthrop Ballpark
Softball game vs. Coastal Carolina; 1 p.m.; Softball Complex
• 4th Annual Catawba Pow-Wow; 11 a.m.-10 p.m.; Winthrop Coliseum

Sunday, April 14

• Teddy Bear Tea Party; 3:30 p.m.; Winthrop University Campus Green: Children ages 3-6 are invited to the event. The entry fee is one gently used toy to donate. Reserve a spot online or call 803/323-4633.

Winthrop Chorale Concert; 7:30 p.m.; Byrnes Auditorium. Cultural event.
Student Choreography Showcase; 8 p.m.; Johnson Hall Theatre: Tickets are $5 with a Winthrop ID and $10 general admission. Cultural event.
