Nonprofit Management Certificate Program Accepting Applications

ROCK HILL, S.C. -- Winthrop University’s
Institute of Management
is currently accepting applications for the
2012-2013 Not-for-Profit Management Certificate Program.
The nine-month program
, which begins Sept. 26, covers the basics of operating a non-profit organization. It includes lectures on programming planning, board management and governance, business ethics and diversity, development and sustainability and program planning. The cost is $425.
After the course, successful participants
receive a certification of completion from the Winthrop University Institute of Management.
The course is offered once each month through May of 2013. Space is limited to the first 30 participants. The course fee is significantly grant-funded through the
