Think You Know about Rock 'n' Roll? Test Your Trivia Skills on Sept. 30

ROCK HILL, S.C. – Fans of rock ‘n’ roll can test their music history skills on Friday, Sept. 30 during the Timmons Brothers’ Music Trivia Show.

The show starts at 8 p.m. in Dina’s Place in the DiGiorgio Campus Center.

John Timmons, who is the assistant director for the Department of Residence Life, and his brother David have parlayed their extensive knowledge of rock ‘n’ roll into various presentations, particularly about Beatlemania, the British Invasion and America’s response to the British Invasion.

The Timmons brothers have given multiple media interviews and have been described by one Ohio newspaper as “two of the region’s if not the state’s leading authorities on rock ‘n ‘ roll music.”

The Winthrop show is a non-competitive activity styled after the "Jeopardy" television show where the audience can be as active as they want or they can be spectators and absorb the fun.

Tickets are $5 with a Winthrop ID, $10 for the public and free to those with a fall pass or to parents attending Family Day.
