ROCK HILL, S.C. - GOP presidential candidate Michele Bachmann will hold a town hall in the Richardson Ballroom, DiGiorgio Campus Center, on Wednesday, June 29.
The 8 p.m. event is hosted by the York County Republican Party and Winthrop University.
The third-term Minnesota Republican represents the Sixth District in the House of Representatives. She is the first female contender to enter the 2012 race and announced her decision to run for president at a recent Republican debate in New Hampshire.
The event is aimed at introducing Bachmann, a conservative firebrand and hero of the tea party movement, to South Carolina voters. She will highlight important elements of her personal story and her journey to political life.
