Senior Art Educators Display Work Dec. 2

ROCK HILL, S.C. - Winthrop University’s senior art educators will exhibit on campus this week the classroom lessons presented to their students, who are from kindergarten to high school age.

The free exhibition is from 6-8 p.m. Dec. 2 in the Lewandowski Student Gallery.

The show, called "Art Education: Going Beyond Macaroni and Popsicle Sticks," features the lessons of Winthrop students Leslie Drews, Krista Jean Eckley, Mary Grobusky, Angel Harris, Alex Jackson, Laura Rader, Haley Robinson, Lauren Smith, Desirae Walker and the art of their public school students in York County. The art majors also explore their own artistic development from their childhood to their college-level work.
