Executive Seminar Room in Carroll Hall to be Named for Minerd Family

ROCK HILL, S.C. – The executive seminar room in the newly opened Vivian Moore Carroll Hall on Winthrop University's campus will be dedicated April 21 in honor of John and Marian Minerd, owners of White Office Furniture in Rock Hill.

The conference room, to be dedicated as the John and Marian Minerd Executive Seminar Room, celebrates the longstanding relationship between Winthrop and White Office Furniture and recognizes the generosity of the Minerds.

Over the years, the Minerds have supported the Winthrop Fund and the Eagle Club. Most recently, the Minerds established a scholarship to support students within the College of Business Administration at Winthrop University.

The Minerd family and White Office Furniture employees will celebrate the dedication on campus on April 21.
