Step 1Fill out the online country preference form by November 18, 2016. First country assignments will be sent out by the end of November with additional country assignments being distributed in December. You may register and send in your country preference form after November 18th; however, if you choose to submit your country preference form after this date, you will be assigned countries based on conference need and availability. Step 2:
After you have received your final country assignments, register online for the conference. You may pay by credit card or mail a check to the Winthrop University Model United Nations office by January 16,2016. No refunds will be given after this date. Please make all checks payable to Winthrop University.
The fees for this year's Model United Nations Conference are as follows:
We are continuing to work hard to keep conference costs to a minimum. These fees cover the cost of the conference, as well as lunch on Thursday, the Keynote speaker and the social events surrounding the conference. These fees do not cover hotel or additional food costs.
Step 3 This year we are going to request that high schools submit resolutions earlier in order to give high school delegations more time to view resolutions. Submit resolutions to the Winthrop University Model United Nations office by February 19, 2017. For more information on writing resolutions, see the delegate information page.
Step 4Fill out the delegate information form (pdf - 22 KB) and return it to the Winthrop Model United Nations office by February 19, 2016.
