Math Placement Test
The Math Placement Test (MPT)
is an effective tool for determining the appropriate first
mathematics course for students pursuing degrees that require a
calculus class. In order to register for MATH 101, 105, 201, 202,
202H, 301, or 301H, students must achieve satisfactory scores on the
MPT or have appropriate AP scores. The MPT and AP scores vary for
each of the above listed courses. Registration in these courses
will be blocked unless score requirements are met.
Registration in MATH 101E
and CTQR 150 is open to any student and does not require taking the
MPT.
The Math
Placement Test will be offered
on Day
One of each 2008 Freshman Orientation Session at 3:45
p.m. in Owens G01 and
G02.
The dates are:

Monday, June 23 (Session
