Campus Space Reservation Directions

At the Campus Space Reservation System web site click on: "Apply for Space Request" button.

Type your windows user name and password.

Please keep in mind the following items when filling out your online request:

  • The Online Space Request System will not accept requests less than 10 days prior to the date of the event.
  • Please complete all spaces on the form. In most cases the system will not accept your request if an omission of any type is made.
  • Make sure to include your department, club or organization account number.
  • Include complete and accurate contact information.
  • Include specific times for the set-up and breakdown of your event. This information is a must when support is requested by Facilities Management.
  • If doors need to be unlocked and locked for your event request this service through Campus Police. Keep in mind that Campus Police does not unlock and lock the Dinkins Student Center or the Shack.
  • Include exact times and detailed descriptions of your event.
  • A separate request must be submitted for multiple dates and spaces.
  • To help you document your request print a copy before it is submitted.
Event Number :

After the online space request has been submitted the online system will assign an event number to your request. At this point additional information will be provided including cancellation procedures, confirmation criteria and general Campus Space Reservation information.

The Final Process:

  • Your request for space will be considered by all appropriate areas.
  • You will receive an email regarding approval or rejection of your request.
  • Do not publicize an event until you receive confirmation that the request has been approved. Your request being assigned an event number means only that it is being considered for approval.
  • You may be asked to provide additional information regarding your event.
  • If additional information is not provided in a timely manner, usually within three days the request may be rejected.
  • If you have a question concerning the event you are requesting space for contact the Space Use Manager assigned to your requested facility. You can click on the icon that reads Building Coordinators List on the Campus Space Reservation System web site to find this information.
  • The Events Reservation Committee will review certain requests to consider whether additional support is needed for an event.
