World Languages Programs
Bachelor of Arts in Modern Languages
Students may choose French, Spanish, or Certification as School Teacher K-12 with a French or Spanish emphasis.
Master of Arts in Spanish
The Master of Arts in Spanish consists of 30 semester hours with a thesis option. The thesis option grants 6 semester hours, which are in lieu of two courses. At least half the work presented for the degree must be 600-level courses.
Minor in French
The minor in French consists of 18 semester hours of FREN at the 200-level and above, at least 6 hours of which must be numbered above 299. The required courses are

(FREN 101-102, or the equivalent, are prerequisites for all other FREN courses; however, they may not be applied toward fulfillment of requirements in the minor.)

The minor in German consists of 18 semester hours in GERM at the 200-level and above, at least 6 hours of which must be numbered above 299. The required courses are
