The minor in coaching consists of 17 hours which must include:

• PHED 361 (1) First Aid and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation
   
• PHED 393 (3) Principles of Teaching Physical Education, Curriculum & Methodology for Grades 6-12
• PHED 401 (3) Psychology of Sport and Physical Activity
• PHED 465 (2) Strength and Conditioning Certification or PHED 571 (3) Theory and Assessment of Coaching

The remaining hours are to be selected from any courses not chosen to meet the above requirements and/or
