Faculty and Student Interns
PC laptops, i-books, digital cameras, and digital camcorders are available for interns and faculty to check-out. College of Education faculty and interns will get preference over non-College of Education faculty.
Faculty and Student interns can check out all equipment for a maximum of 7 days.
For Interns Only
**ITC LAPTOP INTERNET USE POLICY: You must check with your school IT person before you try to get our laptop to go online. They are not configured to go through a firewall and are open to ALL content on the Internet. These settings will need to be reconfigured at your school to comply your K-12 school's acceptable use policies. This is a very serious issue and should not be overlooked. We advise that you use the laptops for Office, iMovie, MovieMaker, Inspiration, Kidspiration, GraphClub and other non-internet related applications only.
Equipment is checked out to students for course work/projects only. Students must obtain the course instructors signature on the equipment check out form.
Students can check-out digital cameras and camcorders for 24 hours.
Students cannot check-out equipment over the weekend without the approval of Suzanne Sprouse or Mary Ellen Lorow.
Students that are not doing their internship cannot check-out laptops without the approval of Suzanne Sprouse or Mary Ellen Lorow. If students receive approval, they must check-out and return the equipment in the same day. In addition, the student must have a faculty member's signature.
Students enrolled in Educational Technology Courses
Course laptops cannot be checked out to students outside of class time. Students that need to use them outside of class time can use them in the ITC. They must leave their ID at the desk.
For any exceptions to the ITC Equipment Check-out policy, please have Suzanne Sprouse or Mary Ellen Lorow initial the form.
