Media attendance and coverage of the March 28 Inauguration of President Jayne Marie (Jamie) Comstock are welcomed.

We would be pleased to have you join us on this special day. If you would like to cover the Inauguration, please inform the Office of University Relations as soon as possible to request space in the designated media area of Byrnes Auditorium. A ticket to the event will not be necessary, but members of the media are encouraged to wear their press pass. Doors will open at 1 p.m. We are asking that everyone be seated by 1:45 p.m. for the start of the Investiture Ceremony.

Campus Parking

Reserved parking will be in the Johnson Hall lot (#10 on campus map).

A trolley will be available to transport delegates from the Johnson lot to the robing area beginning at noon. Campus Police officers will be on site for additional direction.

Parking for Visitors with Disabilities

For wheelchair users, accessible parking is available next to Byrnes Auditorium. Please park on the street between Kinard Hall (#19 on campus map) and Byrnes Auditorium (#2 on campus map). Campus Police officers will be on site for additional direction.

If you do not use a wheelchair and are planning to attend the ceremony and the reception, please park in the Johnson Hall lot (#10 on campus map).
