A completed Winthrop application must
be submitted in order to apply for a vacancy. A resume may NOT be substituted for the
application; however, a resume may be submitted as additional information.
Applications will be accepted for currently
posted job
vacancies only. The Office of Human Resources does not keep applications
and/or resumes on file for future vacancies.
A separate application must be
submitted for each position. The Office of Human Resources will not
make copies of the application. It is suggested that the applicant
make a copy of the original unsigned application after it is
completed. Copies of applications with original signatures will be
accepted.
Faxed applications will be
accepted at
FAX # (803) 323-4861. Faxed applications that are not legible,
however, will be disqualified from consideration. Applicants should call our office to make sure the
document transmitted successfully.
Applications should be mailed or
delivered to: The Office of Human Resources, 303 Tillman Hall,
Winthrop University, Rock Hill, SC 29733. Applications will not be accepted via e-mail.
Applications received after the specified deadline date will not be considered.
Due to the volume of applications received, individuals may not be
notified when a vacancy is filled.
Criminal background checks will be conducted on
applicants selected for employment.
To
comply with South Carolina law prohibiting employment of individuals
in default of certain student loans, verification of loan status
will be conducted before an offer of employment is made.
