Testing Program

Bancroft Annex Third Floor
803-323-4585 (fax)

Please note that effective June 12, the Office of Accessibility and the Testing Center will be located on the third floor of the Bancroft Hall Annex. This is in an effort to resolve necessary space issues related to extensive increases in accommodated testing requests and the near doubling of students served over the past three years.

***New On-line Scheduling FOR CLASSROOM TESTS Now Available***
In our continuing effort to offer the best possible testing experience, a new on-line scheduling link is now available. In the past, Test Center staff scheduled appointments through phone calls, emails, or walk-ins. However, in order to adopt some uniform procedures and avoid confusion, ALL tests, including accommodated, classroom, make-up, etc, Miller Analogies tests (MAT), or distance learning tests should be scheduled through the link below. If you wish to schedule more than one test, please complete a separate form for each test.

We believe the use of the link will offer better access and yield better customer service. If you have questions or need more information, please contact Susan Sistar, Coordinator for Testing Program, at 803-323-3290, email at, or drop by 101 Crawford Bldg. You may also contact the Test Center via email at

The mission of the Testing Program and the Test Center is to provide secure, confidential test administration for Winthrop University students and others in order to promote success, enhance learning, and help test takers meet both professional and personal educational goals.

The Testing Program offers registration information and administers the following examinations: GRE, LSAT, MAT, MPRE, and SAT. In addition, the Testing Program offers non-Winthrop University test proctoring. For additional information, explore this site or contact the Coordinator for Testing Program.

Health and Counseling Services reserves the right to cancel any test due to circumstances beyond our control affecting the University.
