Please congratulate the women of Chi Omega for being selected as Chapter of the Month for February.
The Chi Lambda chapter of Chi Omega Fraternity has been active in the past month striving to promote their core values of: friendship, personal integrity, service to others, academic excellence and intellectual pursuits, community and campus involvement and, personal and career development. The chapter recently gained a pledge class of 26 new women through the formal recruitment process in January. In the past two months Chi Omega has held LinkedIn workshops for its members, a retreat for their new member class, and a sisterhood retreat at Discovery Place in Charlotte, multiple study days, and participated in various individual community service projects. The chapter is currently preparing for: -The Miss IFC pageant, where we will support the five IFC organizations on Winthrop's campus and participating sisters!-A banquet with a private scholarship donor-Week Of Wishes to support our philanthropy, the Make -A -Wish foundation granting wishes to children with life threatening illnesses. During this week there will be a lip sync contest (3/10), a bake sale (3/11), a spirit night at the Chick-fil-A on Cherry Rd. (3/12), and a balloon release at common time on Digs lawn (3/13)! -And a special visit from our nationals! Every year five chapters are chosen (out of 175) to receive a customized workshop, and this year Chi Lambda was one of the five!
