Letter to Potential New Member

Welcome to Panhellenic Recruitment 2015!  These past few years as a sorority woman have provided me with memories and friendships that will last a lifetime.  Not only have I made connections with people in the Winthrop community, but going Greek has also helped me to make connections in the Rock Hill community.  These are connections that would not have been possible without the friends and leaders I have come to know throughout my time in Greek life.

Joining a Greek life organization creates a welcoming atmosphere anywhere you are on campus.  Greek women are always in your classes, various clubs, and just all over campus hanging out with one another.  Going Greek makes Winthrop a much closer and tight-knit community because of the bonds formed that create a home away from home.

My Greek life experience has created numerous leadership opportunities that have helped me develop into the person I am today.  Many of my friends are women that I have met throughout my Greek experience, whether those women are in my sorority or not, and I know they are always here for me no matter what the circumstances.  Joining a sorority is the best decision I ever made because it helped me find my place at Winthrop.

I now invite you to join us and become a better version of yourself as you make those friendships that will last a lifetime.

Sincerely,

 Stephanie Fletcher
