National Pan-Hellenic Council
National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC) is the governing body of the historically African-American fraternities and sororities (also known as the Divine Nine) and is responsible for setting standards and policy for the chapters at Winthrop University that are housed under National Pan-Hellenic Council, Inc. Members of the council consist of seven executive board members and one delegate from each of the seven organizations. The council provides programming, fellowship, and information to the members of NPHC through educational programs, round-table discussions, and forums. They are also responsible for NPHC Unwritten Rules and coordinate the annual Homecoming Step Show.
- Unwritten Rules - August 31 9 p.m. Richardson Ballroom (Anyone interested in joining a NPHC organization MUST attend the semester they are planning to join. Please bring Winthrop ID.)
- Homecoming Step Show - Saturday, November 12 at 8:00 p.m. (doors open at 7:00 p.m.) Byrnes Auditorium

2017-2018 Council Executive Board
The council is now accepting applications for women that are interested in serving on the Executive Board for the 2017-2018 academic year. If you are interested you may view and download (Go to File - Download as) the application. All applications are due Friday, February 24 at 5:00 p.m. to Student Activities (DIGS 269) and elections will take place on Friday, March 3 at 3:00 p.m. in DIGS 223.
NPHC Council Meetings are Friday's at 3:00 PM in the DiGiorgio Campus Center Room 223.
