College Panhellenic Council
College Panhellenic Council (CPC) is the governing body of the sororities and is responsible for setting standards and policy for the chapters at Winthrop University align with the National Panhellenic Conference (NPC). Members of the council consist of seven executive board members, and one delegate from each of the five sororities. The council provides programming, sisterhood, and information to the members of CPC through educational programs, round-table discussions, and forums. They coordinate fundraising and awareness events for their philanthropy, Circle of Sisterhood. They are also responsible for sorority recruitment for all women of Winthrop University.
Sorority 101 – August 25 at 11 a.m. Richardson Ballroom B
CPC Day – October 8 Noon DIGS Lawn: Tour the houses and register for Formal Recruitment.
Recruitment Orientation – January 12, 2017 at 9 p.m. Dina’s Place (Required for any woman wanting to participate in sorority recruitment)
Formal Recruitment – January 13-15, 2017
2017-2018 Council Executive Board
The council is now accepting applications for women that are interested in serving on the Executive Board or Head Rho Gamma for the 2017-2018 academic year. If you are interested you may view and download (Go to File - Download as) the application. All applications are due Friday, February 24 at 5:00 p.m. to Student Activities (DIGS 269) and interviews will be taking place on Friday, March 3 at 4:30 p.m. in DIGS 223.
