College Panhellenic Council

College Panhellenic Council (CPC) is the governing body of the sororities and is responsible for setting standards and policy for the chapters at Winthrop University align with the National Panhellenic Conference (NPC). Members of the council consist of seven executive board members, and one delegate from each of the five sororities. The council provides programming, sisterhood, and information to the members of CPC through educational programs, round-table discussions, and forums. They coordinate fundraising and awareness events for their philanthropy, Circle of Sisterhood. They are also responsible for sorority recruitment for all women of Winthrop University.

  • CPC Sorority Information Session  – August 23 at 8 p.m. Richardson Ballroom A
  • CPC Day – November 4 Noon DIGS Lawn: Tour the houses and register for Formal Recruitment. (Rain Location is Richardson Ballroom B)
  • Recruitment Orientation – January 11, 2018 at 9 p.m. Dina’s Place (Required for any woman wanting to participate in sorority recruitment)
  • Formal Recruitment – January 12-14, 2018

    2017-2018 Rho Gamma Selection

    The council is now accepting applications for women that are interested in serving Rho Gamma for the 2017-2018 academic year. If you are interested you may view and download (Go to File - Download as) the application. All applications are due Monday, August 21, by 5:00 p.m. to Student Activities (DIGS 269).
