Master of Education in Reading

   The Master of Education degree in reading is designed to better prepare the certified classroom teacher for literacy instruction. Graduates of this program will meet South Carolina course requirements for certification as a Literacy Teacher and Literacy Coach. In addition, to meet certification requirements for Literacy Teacher and Literacy Coach, graduates must have satisfactory scores on the required Praxis II examinations and meet the requirements for teaching classroom teaching experience.
