Graduate Study in educational leadership leads to a Master of Education (MEd) degree in educational leadership. This MEd program prepares graduate candidates to work as elementary and secondary school principals.
The mission of the Educational Leadership program is to prepare future school leaders to be visionary and culturally astute educators, pedagogically skilled practitioners who can improve student achievement, efficient managers of their organization, community collaborators who advocate for all children, and consistently demonstrate high ethical standards in all aspects of the Principalship. Program specific knowledge and skills: proficiency in twenty one specific standards and indicators as determined by the Educational Leadership Constituent Council.
