Master of Science in Human Nutrition with ACEND Internship (Thesis Optional)

A Master of Science degree in Human Nutrition option is available which incorporates the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)* accredited Dietetic Internship. No more than six hours of internship credit may be applied to the Master of Science degree in human nutrition. Contact information is:

Application requirements are available on the dietetic internship website.

Prior to registration for the ACEND internship, applicants must complete all ACEND didactic program in dietetics requirements.

Acceptance into the internship is contingent upon:

1. DICAS application
2. Academic standing
3. General Test of the Graduate Record Examination scores
4. References
5. Personal interview

*Effective January 1, 2012 the Commission on Accreditation for Dietetics Education (CADE) changed its name to the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND), and the American Dietetic Association (ADA) changed its name to Acedemy of Nutrition and Dietetics (AND).
