Graduate Students Use Psychology Statistics to Help Local School District
 Winthrop University school psychology graduate students recently helped the Rock Hill school district evaluate the effectiveness of its early childhood education initiatives.

Professor Honored with $25K Endowed Scholarship in His Name
A new scholarship in honor of Winthrop University history professor Jason Silverman will help aspiring historians through a $25,000 endowment.

 Charlotte-area alumni can meet President Comstock on April 24 at Ballantyne Hotel.
The Graduate School at Winthrop University and the Winthrop Alumni Association will host a drop-in reception honoring the President on April 24, from 6-7:30 p.m. at the Ballantyne Hotel in Charlotte, N.C. This event, originally scheduled for Feb. 13, was postponed due to winter storm Pax.

Amelie’s, a french bakery, celebrated the opening of its Rock Hill location Thursday, December 5, 2013. Their opening in Rock Hill on Main Street in part resulted from a student project in Dr. Steve Frankforter's MGMT 684 class this semester.

M.A. Arts Administration Program Creates Advisory Board
Board of alumni and local leaders, including John Boyer, president and CEO of the Bechtler Museum in Charlotte, will enhance this already high-quality degree program.
