Admission to the program for the Master of Arts degree in history usually requires the successful completion of 24 semester hours of approved courses in history at the undergraduate or graduate level, evidence of a satisfactory score on the General Test of the Graduate Record Examination in addition to the general requirements for admission to graduate study at Winthrop.  Application deadline for spring is October 15 and for summer/fall is February 15.
