Admission to the program for the Master of Arts degree in English usually requires the successful completion of 24 semester hours of approved courses in English at the undergraduate or graduate level, in addition to the general requirements for admission to The Graduate School at Winthrop. Applicants are required to submit the Application for Graduate Admission, a satisfactory score on the General Test of the Graduate Record Examination, the Specialty Area Test of the PRAXIS Examination or the Miller Analogies Test.
