Applied Studio Option

   The applied studio option is intended to further the professional goals of the art teacher who wishes to concentrate on the development of artistic skills. This option allows the practicing teacher to pursue studio interests, to develop practical skills and, at the same time, to develop a broad understanding of contemporary art education theory. In the applied studio option, the degree candidate will be required to complete an exhibition thesis.
