Vice President's Welcome

This university division serves students, faculty/staff, and the public in a variety of ways. Our staff members run and maintain computer systems and labs; design and outfit university spaces; keep water, heat, and air conditioning flowing; care for grounds and facilities; pay the university's bills; receive funds from students; manage mail operations; work with vendors and insurance companies; and hire and serve Winthrop's employees.

Although we often work behind the scenes, the outcomes of our efforts are apparent when students, parents, visitors, and university friends find that their Winthrop experiences exceed their expectations. While that happens quite frequently, it is not the only yard stick we use to measure the success of our business operations. None of the university's impressive achievements would be possible without the contributions of finance and business staff. Let us know how we can serve you.
