Job Description: The Office of Admissions seeks highly motivated students with clerical, organizational and/or event planning skills to assist Admissions Counselors with recruitment activities.  Admissions Counselor Assistants will help their assigned Admissions Counselor manage a recruitment territory.  They will contact prospective students by phone, email, and in writing.  Duties may include participation in recruitment events, designing personalized communications, data collection and database management.  Some evening and weekend work will be required.  This position will start in August, 2013.
   
Specific Skills: Excellent communication skills (written and verbal); outgoing, highly motivated; ability to take direction, meet deadlines, and work independently is critical; must be comfortable talking on the phone and in front of groups.  Student Life/Leadership experience is recommended, but not required. Since much of the information ACA’s deal with is confidential, students must be trustworthy, honest, and loyal.
